Fabulous Fleurs

Have a look at this exquisite rose! Each petal and leaf is handcrafted using a traditional French beading technique with wire and delicate glass seed beads. It must have taken thousands of beads and many hours in a row to create this outstanding piece of bead art.

I found Megan on Twitter - someone included us in one and the same Follow Friday shout-out (or somethig like this). Her profile picture looked interesting, so I clicked on the link to her Folksy shop - and wow, was I impressed!

The shop is relatively new, and all items are absolutely gorgeous, made with great precision and marked by mastery.

Different types of flowers and pot plants are available, and what is more, Megan is accepting custom orders. She would be happy to hear from you, if you have some other plant or colour in mind.

I could imagine that her creations would make a great wedding bouquet, bridesmaid gift, Valentine present, etc. Cleaning and care instructions are included.

With prices starting as low as £10.00, Megan's flowers are rather a steal. Thinking about the hours of work in order to carefully string and shape each and every petal and leaf, I personally find them underpriced. You might want to hurry up and get one before she realizes it too!
