Design a T-Shirt for Queen

If you are a Queen fan and a fashion designer, illustrator or graphic designer, the following news will surely thrill you: you have the chance to design a t-shirt for the band's 40th anniversary! The ultimate winner will be chosen by Brian May and Roger Taylor and will receive $1500 + worldwide exposure by being featured on Queen’s official website and across their social media channels including their Facebook page which has over 7.5 million fans.

The submission deadline is April 19, 2011.

Having spent many of my teenage nights listening to Queen's remarkable music and drawing the band's members (I studied in an Art School and our teachers urged us to practice in any possible way:-), I feel excited about this contest. Now I wish I had stuck to my original plan to become an illustrator...
