Lauren Alexander's watercolors give you the happy feeling that the sun is constantly shining. Saying that, I certainly don't mean that yellow is their predominant color. It is rather connected with the combination of soft pastel nuances, artistic usage of contrasts and lines, and joyful take on lighthearted themes.
Recurring subjects in Lauren's art are birds, owls, trees, flowers and a whole host of animals such as rabbits, bears, cats, etc.- all portrayed in the cutest of ways.
Lauren's work is available in her Etsy shop in many different and affordable forms: originals, ACEO originals (ACEO stands for "art card editions and originals"), prints in different sizes, print sets and downloads. The downloads are a great idea, especially as she has turned them into collages, which can be printed out and used for scrapbooking, card-making, etc.
