You only have to glimpse at Lavender Field's lovely designs once to realize that crochet is not restricted to being an old-fashioned granny pastime - it can be creatively used to make trendy jewelry instead.
Victoria is the creative force behind Lavender Field and the person credited with this enchantingly simple and yet stunningly eye-catching idea of handcrafting bubble-shaped crocheted jewelry pieces. Combined with her refined sense of color and shape, it results in beautiful one-of-a-kind necklaces, earrings, bracelets and cuffs.
Lavender Field's creations are made from crocheted and joined together loops, ovals and square shapes with added beads for extra bling. Determined to offer great quality, Victoria uses Delica© Japanese glass beads or gemstones.
Some of her creations are playfully colorful - red and orange, turquoise and lavender, olive and lemon green. Others are more elegant and fashioned in black or grey.
I love the vibrant rainbow designs, but was left gasping in awe by Victoria's unusual take on wedding jewelry. The necklace is made from crocheted loops in creamy, off-white and light grey, spaced with large, white faux pearls.
