Whenever possible, I like to visit the craft shows I might be interested in before sending off my seller application. So yesterday we went to a show in a romantic Bavarian castle.

There were many jewelry, felt and textile artists. The jewelry was mainly by gold- and silversmiths with prices much higher than mine. Believe it or not, I even saw a platinum and amethyst ring for the price of 9999 Euro! The seller was accepting credit card payments and while I doubt he sold exactly this peace, there was a couple interested in buying a 400-Euro necklace from him.
Here are some crafters, whose work I loved (the websites are in German but you can still see examples of their work ):
Andreas Zimmermann from Duo-Creativ presented his stunning wood-art work - sculptures, lamp shades, bowls, etc.
Manuela Conradt from Seidenfadenbilder "paints" with silk threads. I observed her doing it and it looked like meditation. She carefully arranges the threads one next to another on a glued surface, which after many hours of work forms ready pictures. This is an example from her online gallery:
Inge Thiemer-Schäffer from Bunte Möbel gives new life to old pieces of furniture. Her creations are mainly made to order and customers are encouraged to bring their own old chairs, nightstands, etc. She also offers furniture-painting workshops. The picture below is taken from her website:
