Paper-Cut Wedding Stationery and Decoration by Mama Tita

Wedding Invitation Set

I searched both Etsy and DaWanda for interesting handmade wedding invitations and found many nice examples. 

However, Mama Tita's designs left me speechless with their elegance, creativity and sophisticated usage of precise paper-cut patterns.

Nadia and Vitaly's Etsy shop is relatively new but full of outstanding event stationery and decoration ideas. Apart from invitations they have place cards, table numbers, programs, menu cards, etc.

Wedding Program

All products by Mama Tita come with printed or calligraphically hand-written texts / names. Invitation sets also include RSVP cards and envelopes. For an extra charge you can even have the addresses of your guests printed on the envelopes.

1. Tell us more about yourself. How are you sharing the work on the designs?

We are a husband and wife team and live in the western part of Russia. Nadia creates and handcrafts the designs for the shop. Vitaly, who is a designer and photographer, is responsible for the graphic design and the product pictures.

2. Where/ how did you learn your amazing paper-cutting craft? 

I (Nadia) am self-taught but was inspired by my theater teacher. He makes wonderful things from paper!

3. Is paper-cutting a full-time job for you, or a hobby on its way to become a profession?

MamaTita is my (Nadia's) main job. Vitaly is a professional graphic designer here in Russia, and helps me when he has some spare time.

4. What are your future plans and hopes about your creative work?

I only started my wedding line 3 months ago and love this work so much! I would like to make event stationary and decoration till the end of my life :) I have so many ideas and think that they will never end.
